Remember YodaJr's entry to Neo Flash's Summer Coding Contest? Well, he's recently released an update for Legend of Zeda: Stroke of Link. YodaJr's Zelda version of the PC game Ruta Stroke gets (from what the online translation engine tells me) an added number of tests per level. He also warns that, old saves might not be fully compatible with this update. Sigh. okay, just so my neck will stay safe if I loose/miss any details, here's what we got from the translation of the release thread:
History
22/10/2006: Addition selector level once finished play and statistics of the number of tests for each level. 02/09/2006: Correction of the bug of the stick. 23/08/2006: Correction of a bug which returned levels 61 and 63 impossible to finish. 20/08/2006: Final Release and participation in Neo Compo 2006.
How to play
Pad or Stick: To direct Link. Triangle: To put in pause the music in the level. Start: Finely play: To start again the level, to return to the screen titrates or to leave the play.
Notes: The safeguard consists of a sav file in the file of the play. If you want to change the language, this file will have to be removed. It also contains the adjustment music (in the principal menu, with the screen titrates, you can choose not to have music during the levels any more, but the sound effects), cavity the level in progress as well as the stats of the number of test of each level. The safeguard of the level is done right before the animation of transition between 2 levels, therefore as they say: do not extinguish the console at this time there
Got all that? Anyway, a quick play through of this second place winner, will make anyone realize that this game is deceptively addictive. If you're woried that you won't understand this puzzle game, don't fear, an option screen at the start asks you if you want the game instructions in french or english. If you end up stuck in a level with no more clouds to step on, the restart level option is there to help you play over, and over and over again. We haven't confirmed the levels 61 and 63 bug fix yet, as we haven't gotten that far forward yet. I do plan to get that far though, right after I send this article to the editors for checking. Nice update YodaJr! Good work.

Hey everyone!
After a long time away I figured it's time to come back and start working again! Those of you who remember me may have realized that I sort of up and disappeared; this was due to several important family issues that needed to be taken care of. Enough of that though, let's get to the goodies :P

I found a perfect Nethack port created by some good folks named Virtuamunstaz and Ivegotthepawa.

"Crono. Crono! Wake up, Crono!" psp_jono has released his NeoFlash entry in this year's spring coding compo. And y'know what, for a Lua homebrew game (an RPG built on Lua - would you believe?!), it's quite impressive. You can really see the effort he's put into Legacy RPG.
To the SNES kids, you might find the spirtes in this 'brew familiar

Future Resurrection Future Resurrection
The difference a few hours can make. Just last July 2, 2006, v1.0 of Future Resurrection has been released by Zion. It is the story of a man who wakes up from a coma and finds himself in a world unknown to him. If Michael K. was reminded of the film 28 Days Later, I am reminded of Memento
