Witnessing a game's development from scratch into a full-fledged work of art is always interesting, and checking out the progress of homebrew developer Soulless' work-in-progress, Mage Quest, is clearly not an exception.
Still in its early stages, Mage Quest already looks like a classic RPG in its own right, with a nicely-done interface, character dialogue, and all the other things that one can expect from an RPG. Since there is still so many things to add and improve, Soulless listed the things that he needs to do for Mage Quest. Do go over it to see what you can expect from the homebrew game:
Make enemies attack back
Make enemies aggression level (depending on level of aggression, some enemies may try and attack you as soon as you enter the map, others wont)
Fix the dialog box text split (still not working properly)
Make player stats etc save to file
Make a editor to make maps, spells, npcs, enemies etc
Make a story line
Make "teleport" tiles, to change maps when you enter a building etc
Make a Menu
Add items to the game
(more to come)

Hey everyone!
After a long time away I figured it's time to come back and start working again! Those of you who remember me may have realized that I sort of up and disappeared; this was due to several important family issues that needed to be taken care of. Enough of that though, let's get to the goodies :P
