PSP developer Akabane87 has just announced the release of a homebrew game titled Snake_Multi. This game is a Lua-scripted PSP adaptation of the popular Snake game you've probably played on your mobile, and allows for 2-player support if you've got a buddy who's also got this loaded in their PSP.
The rules are simple: each player must be able to grab the "fruit" onscreen to build up points, while at the same time trying to avoid hitting their opponent's snake. Doing so will deduct one point from each player; players that tangles up their snakes automatically lose. Move the snake around by using the directional buttons on your D-pad. Pressing the "Select" button turns off the scoreboard.
Version 1.1 now carries a start screen, and more detailed game mechanics. Players can win by reaching 20 points before their opponent does, or by making their opponent go beyond -10 points on their score. This download is for PSP running on custom firmware 3.XX OE. Enjoy!
