Tommydanger from our forums has just updated his IceTea graphical user interface (GUI) for making Popstation compatible PSX EBOOTs. The point of this GUI was to give you jsut one program that would allow you to create PSP compatible PSX eboots, extract ISOs from PSX eboots, create manual from png images and to create manuals from a simple text file. All the basics were in v1.0 but this updated version has been released to enhance usability. Here's the changelog:
* Added gameid autodection, thanks to SeattleMan from www.sonyindex.com for providing me his PS1 game database
* Added progress bar to iso extraction/eboot compilation dialog, so you actually see the progress :P
* Fixed glitch which made the windows explorer think iso extraction/eboot compilation dialog crashed when in reality it was still running
This program also features CDDA support built in by Tinnus and the proper iso extraction by flatwhatson, so some of the credit for this excellent application goes to them. Note: This should run on all Windows versions from 98 up until the recently-released Windows Vista 32-bit.

Given the release of PSP 3.00 Firmware, we all know that most of you are still having reservations to update. Though Sony mentions compatibility with PSOne titles albeit through use of a PS3, there was still no word concerning homebrew games so it is safe to assume that they won't work with the new firmware
