Devun_06 has released the much-awaited update to his XT1-OS (XT1-Operating Shell). Wait no more, XT1- 0S v0.9 is here. This update features the folliwng changes:
* Reboot after eboot launch
* Small and full screen directory display
* Small and full screen text dispalySPLAY
* Supports full theming
* Supports custom color
* Prioritzed windowing
* MP3 playback
* Batter and GMT time display
Right now XT1-OS v.0.9 does not support copy/paste/move/delete/create new items but Devun_06 promised to work on that.
For the Nth time, read the readme file before installing this or any other applications so you know exactly what you're doing and getting into. For example, the allpapers should be placed within the system's resource folder and are only compatible with the following attributes: widht<=512;height<=512; format:*.png
If you didn't read the readme file, you wouldn't have known that. When constructing your very own theme suitable for XT1-OS, you must always follow these rules:
* All > Z0,Z1,B0,B1,B2,B3,X0,X1> must be the same width and height
* All > FILE AND FOLDER ICONS (Including SystemIcons: Sttn & Wall)> must be the same width and height. (min size useable:32x32 *untested)
* All > FULLSCREEN MATERIAL> must be equivalent to PSP's full dimensions (480x272)
* All > START RIGHT COLUMN MATERIALS> must be the same width and height (width doesn't really matter)
* All > MESSAGE BUTTONS> must be the same width and height
* NONE OF THE FOLLOWING MAY BE ALTER DIMENSION WISE: -CURSOR
Again these were in the read me file. See what we mean?
Finally, Devun_06 says:
DO NOT USE IF YOU FEAR THE WORST POSSIBLE:EVEN BRICKING. THIS PROGRAM IS JUST A SIMPLE C/C++ WRITTEN EBOOT FILE IN NO WAY CAPABLE OF BRICKING YOUR PSP AS FAR AS I KNOW, BUT THIS IS HOMEBREW, SO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
