Kiwidoggie is back, and he's got Update Killers Custom Edition with him. Basically this homebrew lets you modify the original version of Update Killers. If you think you can do something to spice up his homebrew game, then you can download this mod to tweak Update Killers according to your fancy.
The dev says you can add or change something in the code, as long as you use this on Update Killers 1.0.1 and NOT 1.14. So before you do some tweaking, make sure that yu're working on UK 1.01, alright? Update Killers is included in the Update Killers Custom Edition zip file, but you can also get it here if you're itching to take a look at it already.
Anyway, here's a guide to this app, which is lifted from the readme. It's a bit short, but the dev believes you can find out the rest on your own:

Aside from making Popstation-compatible PSX eboots, it also allows you to create PSP-compatible PSX eboots, extract ISOs from PSX eboots, create manual from png images, and to create manuals from a simple text file. All of these you could do just by using this one program

Thanks to a tip from aDcOoL, we heard about this nifty new app that allows people to hack the wave on the XMB background. It's called xmbWave, and it's made by Vulpix.
xmbWave is basically a simplified hex editing tool that alters the wave on your background, and as easy as the app is to learn, it's a tough one to become an artist
