CE ClEaner - Overview: ClEaner is an automatic cleaning module for your PocketPC. When Microsoft developed the PocketPC2002 operating system, they overlooked some basic problems which, over time, causes your device to become slower and slower and eventually force you to do a soft reset. ClEaner helps to overcome this. Features of ClEaner: · Automatically removes temporary files at start-up · Automatically removes cached internet files at start-up · Automatically removes Internet cookie files at start-up · Automatically closes running applications at start-up What ClEaner Does: As your PocketPC2002 device runs, the operating system creates temporary files in the Temp directory which, after being created and used, are no longer needed. Unfortunately, the programs which use these files fail to remove them after use - resulting in an increasing use of precious resources which finally brings the system to a grinding halt. The same goes for the temporary Internet and cookie files that are created as you browse the Internet - the number of temporary files grows and grows, using up the most valuable resource on your machine - memory space. Applications that you run on your device do not get closed when you click on the "Close" button - they are merely hidden, but left running in the background. In theory, the operating system will close these programs sooner or later, as it detects that the resources are needed. However, it is clearly not good at this, and programs take longer and longer to run because the system is overloaded. ClEaner helps to overcome these shortcomings in the PocketPC2002 operating system, thereby maximizing the availability of scarce resources.
