MapTexterer - MapTexterer allows you to create text based GPS maps. When you get a GPS lock then you can create a new map and enter text for the area. When you save the text the map is downloaded and the text and GPS is appended to the end of the map with current GPS.

MapGPSeds - MapGPSeds is a full-featured GPS map downloader with GPS tagger. When you get a GPS lock you can download a 600x600 pixel map from Google.com. The maps have the GPS tagged on them. Then you can view the maps offline via GPS distance and customize the download views.

TravelMaper - TravelMaper is a database of 661 major cities worldwide with Latitude/Longitude coordinates for each and direct Google.com map view/download. Select the city and select "view" or "download" map to download the Google.com Map. You can also customize the type of view and zoom via the options settings
