GpsPort (Pocket PC) is a TrekBuddy companion application for WM devices. It redirects COM port to TCP socket. This way TrekBuddy can access internal GPS where Java does not support serial port access (eg. Esmertec Jbed). TrekBuddy uses localhost (127.0.0.1) connection to read the NMEA data
GPSRulerer uses GPS to find two points and uses the "The Vincenty inverse formula for ellipsoids." (accuracy to within 0.5mm, or 0.000015"). Select 'Start GPS' to start the GPS and when you get a lock you can view your current GPS. Tap the button to save it and measure your distance. The map service is provided by Google
GPSSateliter displays the GPS satellite listings and strength as a graph. When you tap the 'Start GPS' button the program will look for GPS satellites and graphically display the decibel of each. The more bars the better your GPS coverage
GPSSMSerer uses the GPS on your PocketPC to find your latitude/longitude/altitude and speed and creates a single blank SMS template. When the program gets its first lock then it creates an SMS with your GPS update location and a link to the Google.com mobile online street map
GPSTwitterer allows you to oAuth update and view Twitter contacts via GPS. You can use the GPS to find your current location and send a tweet and also track your friends via Twitter. The map service is provided by Google.com. The tweet service is provided by Twitter
gpsVP works on virtually any Windows platform including mobile ones. It shows vector and raster maps, records and shows tracks, shows multiple navigation parameters, manages and shows waypoints. It aims to be as usable as possible.
