Best Dates is a useful utility that helps you organize and view anniversaries in a handy way. This application has a buildin reminder that will remind you about an anniversary and write an SMS/EMail or Call the person who has a birthday.
New - creates new empty birthday record;
New from Contacts - creates new birthday record with data from your Contacts application;

Every record has the following information about a birthday:
First name;
Last name;
Birthdate;
Photo;
Reminder - when this option is turned on your record will be visible in Calendar application;
Prefix text - text before First name and Last name in Calendar record;
Reminder time - time of calendar appointment;
Alarm - the same field as alarm field in calendar record;
Days before;
Alarm time;
In Misc menu you can find the following features:
Export/Import CSV file - allows to backup and restore birthdays;
Export/Import birthdays to Contacts application;
Add all records to calendar;
Refresh calendar record updates all Best Dates records;
Sort orders:
Sort by date;
Sort by name;

View filters birthdays:

Template message is a text that you can send using reminder. Best Dates replaces words: %FirstName% and %LastName% with an actual name of a person.

When remind time is reached Best Dates shows you a reminder dialog. You can select the following commands in this dialog:
Later - remind later after some minutes or hours;
Call a person;
