The Nintendo Wii homebrew scene has been showing Linux proofs of concept lately. Now, over at the other side of the fence, a Microsoft Paint look-alike homebrew application has just been released. From developer Kontakatilu, WiiPaint version 1.0 lets you use your Nintendo Wii as your own artistic canvas

Miguel28 is out with a new version of his artistic application for the Wii, DrawMii v1.1.

Kidspaint
Kidspaint is is a painting program mainly for kids. Up to four people can paint on the screen at the same time by using different wiimotes. It's also being turned into an official WiiWare game called Paint Splash, which the devs say will be coming out "in a few months" in both North America and Europe

This incredibly fun program has been given a robust update, with several great new features including the ability to configure the density of objects, and a larger world for you to play in. If you guys know PocketPhysics or crayon physics, then you'll be familiar with the concept of this new homebrew from coder Beardface. Called WiiPhysics, it's a physics playground program where you just doodle stuff on screen, then you just let physics take over and watch your doodles come to life
