There's been a big update from the team of USBLoader GX devs who are working on the very popular USB Loader which lets you load Wii games from your USB. The changelog for this update is pretty big and loaded with some nice updates

Another one for Wii users that we have today is Dios Mios Lite version 1.4b.A The developers have advised that prior to using Dios Mios Lite you should confirm that you console is backwards compatible to Gamecube games.A They caution that newer model Wii's as of the 2011 holiday season are not backwards compatible
WiiMC Wii homebrew devs Tantric and rodries have released version 1.2.3 of WiiMC. This is a cool media player for the Nintendo Wii. It's recommended that you install the IOS 58 first. This is an automatic update if you have a Wi-Fi connection.

Wii developer Yossi has releasedA version 0.1-TR of the puzzle game called FlipEm for your Nintendo Wii. This is now compatible with your Wiimotes and is a game similar to Lights Out that can be played on the Wii.

Wiimc
The Wii homebrew community keeps coming up with great updates. Tantric and rodries have updated Wiimc to version 1.2.4. Wiimc is a mediaplayer that can be used with your Wii. You should install IOS 58 prior to using this version.

Wii homebrew developer Wiimpathy released version 0.2 of Bermuda Syndrome Wii. This is a port of the game engine Bermuda Syndrome for Nintendo Wii. Wii Dev Izhido has update the Quake Rev Pak bring us release 3.A This is an easy to use interface that combines multiple Quake engines that are available for the Nintendo Wii. Check out the note from Izhido below.

USB Loader GX r1156
Thanks to team USB Loader GX we now have r1156 of the USB Loader for the Nintendo Wii. One of the cool features included in this release is the addition of a new viewing mode which they are calling "Banner". Banner looks like the Wii's system menu. Before proceeding keep in mind that this is still in Beat stages so there may be some bugs

A bit of time has passed since we've heard from Wii homebrew dev XFlak.A Well now we have a new version of ModMii. In the event that you aren't familiar with ModMii its a PC application that lets you download just about anything.
