DarwiinRemote
You know, if we knew a little more about Mac programming, this would be a pretty cool app and source code to mess around with. Hiroaki made an Mac application that can potentially allow users to control other programs using your Wiimote.
Called the DarwiinRemote, it's an app that sends and receives data to and from the Wiimote
GlovePIE
Earlier, we talked about GlovePIE v0.22 from Carl Kenner. The "PIE" stands for "Programmable Input Emulator" and it lets you use the VR Glove and the Wii remote to work with a your computer
So. You guys jealous of all the fun that some Wii owners have been having using their Wiimotes as mouse pointers? Well, we already brought you guys the DarWiinRemote app which lets you use your Wiimotes on your Mac's, and even provided you guys with a demo vid for that

For instance, imagine doing a slideshow on Mac using your Wiimote to direct the flow of your presentation. You can keep your presentation fluid without prompting someone to move to the next segment of your show or having to go back to the mouse every few minutes after stating your point. That's the kind of cool future we can envision from DarwiinRemote
Wii Video 9
Using the photo channel, the Wii can play movies in in MJPEG format, but sadly it can't read DivX, XviD, or MPG movies, you know, all those formats you use when you guys torrent stuff (although .mkv and.ogm seems quite hot now-a-days)
GlovePie
Carl Kenner has updated his app that allows the Wiimote to work with PCs to GlovePie v0.26. This version features a TroubleShooter Bluetooth Fix menu. This might be the answer to the bug that keeps it from working with other BlueTooth adapters. However, Carl says this won't be much help if you are unable to pair your Wiimote without a password
