Over the past couple of days, we've been hearing a lot of homebrew developments that claim that the Nintendo Wii has been fully hacked. And most of those concern the innocent looking game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Team Twiizers has updated Twilight Hack to v0.1 alpha 2. For those unfamiliar with this application, it allows users to run ELF files on their Wii. This pretty much opens doors for homebrew on the said console.
This updated version now allows users to load ELF files from an SD card using an SD Gecko or similar device

Beardface has developed a new homebrew application for the Wii coders out there who want to try out new things on their Wii. It's called EasyIOS v0.1.2, and it allows users to browse the device tree and try out quick IOS commands without doing builds

Brakken has announced the release of WriteELF, an application from cybermind that allows users to write ELF files to their SD card. This release is made to be used with Team Twiizer's Twlight Hack.

Homebrew developer Albert "isboel" Herranz and his team has released a new roof-of-concept application, showing the Nintendo Wii being able to run the operating system Linux.
This is a port of the GameCube-Linux project from the same team
Snes9xGx.wii
Wii homebrew developer unholyfire has announced the release of Snes9xGx.wii 0.01b. If you haven't figured out what it does based on the title, it's an emulator which allows users to run SNES roms on their Wii.
According to the developer, this application is running a modified version of the Snes9xGx 1.43 emulator
