Developer DragonMinded has recently announced the release of build 0.12 Alpha of the DragonMedia Player homebrew application for the Nintendo Wii.
This new build carries two changes: The first is a new read-ahead buffer that smooths out any choppy files you have playing via a USB connection. DragonMinded also fixed a glitch where the user's settings sometimes did not get saved when they did not change their theme name.
Some other innovations that the dev hopes to put in DragonMedia Player's future builds are support for DVDs and the internet (streaming), or even video play support. Full details on DragonMinded's controls and file support range are available in the readme included in the file bundle.
