Louis Segond was a Swiss theologian who translated the Bible into French from the original Greek and Hebrew texts. The translation of the Old Testament was published in two volumes in 1871, and the New Testament in 1880 through a private venture. The text was then reviewed by experts and resulted in the 1910 revision
German: Luther 1912 (LUT) Martin Luther rendered a NT from the original sources while at the Wartburg in 1521 and it made an appearance in 1522 as Das Newe Testament Deutszsch. The OT was translated from the Hebrew and was published in installments. Luther's German Bible was completed in 1534
The Authorized King James Version is an English translation of the Christian Bible begun in 1604 and first published in 1611 by the Church of England. The Great Bible was the first "authorized version" issued by the Church of England in the reign of King Henry VIII.
