Xandu's Media Player 2 Beta
For those who have been waiting for the update of Xandu's Media Player 2 (XMP2), you're in luck. The homebrew developer has just released the latest version for the PlayStation Portable music player.
If you aren't familiar with this particular homebrew app, here's a bit of a primer. XMP 2 is a media player that has a iPod-ish interface
Melody
If you want an MP3 player that is as your PSP, then xart's Melody v0.9 is just up your alley. This stand-alone player from Choice Beta 1.5 looks really pretty with its transparent menus and easy to use interface.
This is an early release of the program and further improvements are on the way. The developer gave word that Melody v1
