The Lua PC Remote Viewer which we reported on earlier today has been hung out to dry as the developer sanguinas has released a new version of the application which lets you control your PC with your PSP and named it 'PC2PSP'
PC2PSP
This just in from sanguinus, the developer of PC2PSP. PC2PSP (formerly known as the Lua PC Remote Viewer) takes screenshots from your PC and sends them through Usbhostfs or Nethostfs (untested yet) to your PSP and updates them about twice a second.
Last we posted, sanguinus added a mouse control but that version appeared to have some bugs
PC2PSP RC-1
Sanguinus' explanation for his new release of PC2PSP is kind of funny when you imagine it as the opening Star Wars montage. Still, this new release defnitely deserves some praise, if only because he coded it from scratch
PC2PSP YAR
Coder extraordinaire Sanguinus has just rolled out yet another release for his homebrew PSP app, PC2PSP. Just in case you weren't able to catch the previous version, or this is your first time to hear about this app, it basically allows you to "view a 480x272 area ,around the cursor on your PC,on your PSP."

DarkPortal
Holygame and Overkill have been hard at work on their little portal project, now called DarkPortal. DarkPortal is basically your very own portal system, allowing you to access different sorts of content like a browser would.
Now that DarkPortal v1.5 Beta is out, let's discuss the changes made to it. Here are the recent changes made from 1.0 to 1
DarkPortal Final
After releasing v1.5 just two days ago, Holygame and Overkill are back to bring us yet another bumped up version of their nifty homebrew app, DarkPortal.
For those not in the know, DarkPortal works just like any other portal would -- it lets you access the various contents of your handhelds like games, music, videos, pictures, etc
DarkPortal
Here's v2.1 of Holygame's DarkPortal. This homebrew app lets you access various contents of your handheld like music, videos, photos, and such.
Since the last version, the dev says this only contains a bug fix for the Help files. They work now so everything's going to be a breeze with the app
zx-81's PSPSSH: SSH2 Client for PSP
PSP developer zx-81 has just released PSPSSH, a PSP version of Matt Johnston's Dropbear SSH2 server and client app, over on the QJ PSP Development forums. According to zx-81, this port is based on version 0.48
PSPSSH: SSH2 Client for PSP
PSP homebrew coder Zx-81 is apparently taking a break from PSP game emulators to let us in on something equally (if not more) lucrative: PSPSSH v1.0.2.
This homebrew application is Zx-81's PSP version of Matt Johnston's Dropbear SSH2 Server and Client, which was originally built to run on a variety of POSIX-based platforms
