Version Flasher
Homebrew developer download has come out with Version Flasher 1.7. According to him, this program spoofs your current firmware by flashing the index.dat and version.txt files from a later firmware update.
In a nut shell, this should ensure better compatibility when running newer games and demos which require the more recent firmware

New homebrew developer imalinuxfreak dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released his first ever PSP application known as VersionChanger. This particular program is actually part of a bigger flasher application the coder is currently working on but this particular build already merits a separate release

VideopSpy
We've previously seen a PRX module (HideFile PRX) which lets you hide your files via the XMB. Today though, we've got a full blown app that allows you to make some sensitive media files of your (videos and pictures) hidden.
The interesting thing about VideopSpy is that when accessed via the XMB, it looks like a normal homebrew calculator application
