For those of us who like to use our Sony PlayStation Portable as a convenient MP3 player, heads up: PSP homebrew developer Sakya has just released a new version of LightMP3, a work-in-progress MP3 player that's a bit more energy-efficient than the handheld's own MP3 player function.
What's new with this version is that users can now customize the way the want LightMP3 to look on their PSPs - as well as it being multingual. There's still a bit missing from this latest version, however, but we can certainly wait until they're all straightened out, can't we?
Here's a list of the known bugs in version 2.0.0 of LightMP3:
Known bugs:
1. FLAC playback is broken (the app crash)
2. Suspend doesen't work (the app crash)
3. libMAD playback is almost useless (for now) because isn't streamed/buffered and the free memory is only 10Mb)
4. USB connection doesn't work
5. Help screens are missing
