Heads up to mEo for another PSP homebrew app released! This new app is a step-by-step guide that lets you install various TV programs into your PSP without having to tweak with a lot of settings to get them streaming right. Simple, eh?
The PSP TV Setup Helper uses TVU Player, TVC Media Player and the psp application PMP VCL. All you really need to do is download it now or ask mEo in the forum thread below if some thing in the app stumps you. Otherwise, here goes the download link -- check it out.

One of the conveniences of modern life is the ability to update themselves with TV program schedules while on the go. Fortunately for Sony PSP users, homebrew developers Seb, Cladil and Quadrizo have the answer: the Portable Program Guide (PPG) v0.1

Homebrew coder Art dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and shared an application created by Dark AleX that allows programmers to access PSP Slim & Lite's TV out capabilities using whatever cables. More than a full program, this one is more of a "Hello World" proof that such can be done
PiMPStreamer PiMPStreamer
Bringing out yet another kickass update to PiMPStreamer is none other than our favorite pimp, DickyDick1969. In all seriousness though, there's a lot to look forward to, in this small update. Even though he was busy with other things (hint?), he was gracious enough to add in FLV support for PiMPStreamer, along with Youtube RSS support

PPG is a TV guide for the PSP that uses the XMLTV format to generate listings. The original program was developed as homebrew software and is a first class example of what can be achieved by the unsung bedroom programmer (Pay attention Sony).

Pimpstreamer Pimpstreamer
About a month after PiMPStreamer v1.0 beta rolled out, homebrew developer DickyDick1969's served out version 1.0-2 that should sort out problems regarding video/audio synchronization. PiMPStreamer v1.0-2 beta is v1.0 beta recoded from the ground up and should still be compatible with Dark AleX's 3.52 M33-4 firmware
