MiniMP3
Homebrew developer nlxx has just rolled out a new application for the Wii called the MiniMP3 Player. This basic MP3 player was written in C using devkitPro r15, LibOGC, and GRRLIB.
Despite the description as being basic, MiniMP3 boasts of both Wiimote and FrontSD support

If you're always on the lookout to give your Wii more added functionality, you'll like this little Wiibrew program. Called MiniMP3 Player, this Wiibrew from nlxx lets your Wii play MP3 files. The program has both Wiimote and Front SD support.

MP3 + G karaoke format, consists of two files, an MP3 file and a file CDG. Both files have the same name "base" (the part before the extension) to play correctly.
