Can't wait to give Monkey Island another run on your Wii? Hold that thought for a moment, as dhewg announces the release of a new ScummVM build.
For the guys reading this for the first time, ScummVm is actually a series of homebrew emulators built to run games that use LucasArts' Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion (SCUMM) scripting language.
SCUMM is famous for its roster of point-and-click adventure titles which includes Sam & Max Hit the Road, the Monkey Island series, and Day of the Tentacle. dhewg's project in particular is recognized as the Wii's official ScummVM port. As for the latest changelog that comes with rev 33083:
* fixed another savegame issue
* support for the reset and power button
* added a gamecube port

You will want to specifically look for the dev's official bug tracker link to avoid any confusion.
