0. Beta Release Software
We are (I am) not responsible for damage to your save data in MemoryStick.
And we don't support for this program excluding problems with bugs.
It does not support 2.xx savedata for now.
1. What is this software?
This is binary editor for PSP savedata.
2. How to launch this program?
Copy "PSP" folder in archive to the root of the MemoryStick.
If firmware version is 1.00, you can remove CWORKS_S folder.

Controls
* Arrow Keys - Move cursor / Edit value
* Cross(e) Key - Enter / Move to next
* Circle(?) Key - Leave Menu / Edit mode
* Square(?) Key - Switch Turbo mode
* Start Button - Show Menu
* L Trigger / R Trigger - Page scroll
Menu
* Open - Open savedata
* Save - Update savedata
* Create backup - Make backup for active state
* Restore from backup - Restore state from backup file
* Quit with saving
* Quit without saving
* Back - Back to binary editor
Menu - Open
Press start button and select "Open" item, and you can select a savedata(Cross(e) key to choose / Circle(?) key to back / Arrow keys(Up and Down) to select).
After you select a savedata, menu will be closed and binary editor will be active.
Menu - Save
Press start button and select "Save" item.
Edited binary will be committed to real savedata.
Menu - Create backup
Press start button and select "Create backup" item.
Then active state will be saved into /PSP/SAVEDATA/(opening savedata dir)/(data file).backup .
You can edit this file on your PC (this file is already decrypted!)
Menu - Restore from backup
Press start button and select "Restore from backup" item.
Then active state will be restored from backup file.
Menu - Quit with saving
Press start button and select "Quit with saving".
Then application will quit after saving data.
Menu - Quit without saving
Press start button and select "Quit without saving".
Then application will quit after soon.
Menu - Back
When menu is shown, select "Back".
Menu will be closed. only so.
Binary Edit
Editing binary may be a little complex for beginners.
Binary Edit - Moving cursor
Arrow keys can be used to move "active address" cursor.
L Trigger and R Trigger can be used to move cursor "page to page".
Binary Edit - Changing Value
You find the address that you want to edit, Press Cross(e) key. Then active color will be changed into red.
You can change value by pressing arrow keys as following: Press Cross(e) key to move to next address, Circle(?) key to leave from editing.
Binary Edit - Turbo Mode
If you are entering value, you can use Turbo Mode.
Press Square(?) key to switch Turbo mode between normal editing mode.
You can change value by pressing arrow keys as following: Press Cross(e) key to move to next address, Circle(?) key to leave from editing.
Binary Edit - Editing savedata on your PC
PSP's savedata is encrypted to prevent you from editing it.
But you use Cheatworks PSP Type S, you can edit savedata on your PC.
* Create backup to export decrypted data.
* Open /PSP/SAVEDATA/(opening savedata dir)/(data file).backup And edit it (you must not change file size)
* Restore active state from backup to apply.
* Just save it.
