Does your superslim ODE console have problems downloading game updates? OdeFixUpdate is here to help!
While most of the firmware 4.55 kinks have been worked out in the ODE universe, some superslim model PS3s are still having trouble installing game updates while on the latest firmware. This tiny download is a tool that helps you fix that problem by converting official software patches into BD discs that can be booted by your ODE. The process is pretty simple, but it does require that you have a BD burner to create update discs. This issue should only effect superslim models, but if it's bothering you otherwise, maybe give this a shot. The changelog is below.
Many users of the Ode on Firmware console Superslim 4.55 and found quite a few problems to update their games, waiting for the user Pal0x releases a solution that ultimately we put on a pair of instructions to try to make it easier to prepare updates.
The application is simple to use, just enter the PKG update file in the program folder and launch the file OdeFixUpdate.bat.
The package will be extracted to a folder where the application will fetch the file EBOOT.BIN and PARAM.SFO elaborating, at the end of the two files will be stored in the folder extracted earlier.
Following re-create the file E3boot.ISO or in the case of Cobra Ode performed a series of applications in order to bring the right file for the start of our games, finally burn the image onto a Blu-ray single layer.
