Marilyn: In The Magic World (A PSX and PS3 Homebrew) - Looking for a new homebrew for your original Sony PlayStation? Check out this exciting platformer called Marilyn!
Marilyn: In The Magic World is a PSX platformer in early development by LameGuy64. It takes strong cue from old school Mario games in that players must defeat enemies and collect coins to reach the end of each level. In fact, there's even a cool fireflower-like ability that allows Marilyn to shoot a barrage of bullets at her foes. For additional ammo, there's also a cool sidekick character that players can throw at anything that gets in their way. For a more complete explanation of what Marilyn is all about, watch this video of the game in action. You can download a PS3-compatible package here!
Marilyn: In the Magic World
It is I, the great and highly talented LameGuy64 again with another awesome entry for this year's Codeblast '14 competition, Marilyn: In the Magic World. An old school 2D action platformer fan-game developed almost entirely by me featuring Kenny Anderson's Marilyn character.
Unfortunately, I was unable to test this game on a real PlayStation as I'm currently far away from home and I don't have my development console with me but it works perfectly on a emulator and a PS2 through backwards compatibility mode. Please inform me when you experience any major bugs in this game such as crashes and/or lock-ups.
