One of the greatest inventions since bread came sliced were shooting games. Yeah, we've got a whole bajillion and two-thirds of FPS titles out in the market now, but when you want to talk about the basics, all you've got to do is find a target shooting game. From Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt in the NES to a more modern Point Blank complete with bombs, bald men, and balloons.
Introductions aside, let's all greet myschoo (Phil) a warm welcome into the homebrew community. It's his first LUA game, and it's doing great. Phil's Shooting Range v0.1 is complete down to the GTA theme. The controls are simple enough: hit O to shoot and
use the Analog stick to move the Crosshairs.
The game's in its infancy stage as of now (dude, it's still in v0.1), so if you guys have any suggestions, just discuss it with him in our Forum Release Thread (linked below). He'd gladly try to make room for your input in future versions. Currently, here's what myschoo's planning to include:
* Highscore system
* Better GFX
* Remove BUGS (if any)
* Time trial
* More Targets

WiiDoom 0.4.1 WiiDoom 0.4.1
from Steve:
I fixed the bug that caused the shareware wad to crash in 0.4, so I'm releasing a version that includes only this fix. The homebrew browser can't put out the newest WiiDoom unless the shareware wad (which is packaged with it) works, so this was a high priority for me
