Homebrew developer Waywardson has rolled out (pun intended) the Beta version of Tank Attack 3D. For a Proof-of-Concept release, this is pretty solid considering it already has collision detection and tank movement as well as a method of changing the camera views. However, the tanks still can't fire, so don't expect a fully playable game when you download this.
The graphics are decent but the developer has said that he plans on making it even better and even add a few landmarks on the map to make it more realistic. Like his previous versions of Tank Attack, the game is meant to be played by two people with the PSP held sideways. Controls have also remained the same, with select now mapped to change the camera view.
So download the game and try it out. Be sure to go over the Read Me document in the compressed file before doing anything though. As a final note, try not to pay attention to the numbers in the lower-left corner of the screen. That's just debug info that won't be making it into the game's final release.
