PSP coder Geecko is back in the homebrew scene to release his latest project, gLib2D, a lightweight 2D graphics library for the PSP. Some of its features include basic objects display, JPEG and PNG support, alpha blending and texture cropping, third coordinate support and intraFont compatibility, among others

We missed Alatnet and his uber-useful 3D modeling application Gmax2PSP. He recently came back into the fray with version 4 of his program and less than 48 hours later, he's come up with Gmax2PSP v5.
For those who haven't heard of it, homebrewers can use this to make custom content for their games, so long as they're gmax-enabled

Many gamers enjoy "modding" their games by importing their own props into the game environment. This is very common, and relatively easy to do, with PC games such as The Sims 2, because of the relative abundance of third-party utilities designed for this purpose
Graphical Vote Table
Heads up to all developers out there. There's a new dev tool in town. HaxxBlaster has made a Graphical Vote Table for every developer's ease and satisfaction, most especially for Lua developers. In the QJ Forums he wrote:
This vote tabel i created, can be used in real time(the stand alone version) or be used in a Lua application

It wasn't so long ago that we featured HaxXBlaster's Graphical Vote Table (that non-devs could turn into a Magic 8-Ball) here at QJ. Lua developers have warmly received his work and has given their support and opinion through its release thread over at the forums. Which by the way has been very busy since the application's release
GripShift Hello World

Instructions
------------
1. Copy the contents of MS_ROOT into the root of your memory stick.
(This will overwrite the first GripShift savegame slot).
2. Launch the US version of GripShift.
3. Load up the game (if it doesn't autoload).
4. See your PSP run unsigned code. :)
It'll autoexit after some time
GTA Homebrew Development Package
Fanjita has created a package for all developers who wish to create applications and games for 2.01+ firmwares. The file contains the expanded source for the GTA Tetris binary, along with instructions and information on how to adapt it to other applications
