Ascii Attackers from Hell v1.1 (1.50)

Remember that sweet homebrew shooter with ASCII graphics for the Sony PlayStation Portable? Homebrew developer jabbyjim has updated his Ascii Attackers from Hell, now version 1.1 which is compatible with 3.xx custom firmwares and has functional pause buttons.

Ascii Attackers from Hell is a homebrew game that may look simple on the outside, but has mechanics which can keep you on your toes. When you miss enemies in this shoot-em-up, they can lay mines and make life a lot harder. There are also three levels littered with the invaders that you'll have to live through.

ShootoutShootout
Shootout  It's amazing what Harry1 can do on his spare time - create a fun shooter game called Shootout v0.1. The object of the game is to blow the bad guys into smithereens by either using a Halo-inspired gun or grenade. This should be a big hit for the trigger happy lot. The game, which is made in lua, is a 2D game with a 3D background

Ascii Attackers from Hell Jabbyjim has released his very first game for the PSP, and it's definitely got a cool name. It's called Ascii Attackers from Hell and its premise is simple: take down 60 enemies before you run out of lives. Of course, it isn't as simple as the premise might lead you to believe
