Dstroy The ongoing NEO Summer Coding Competition 2007 has just received a new game entry , courtesy of developer naroin. The homebrew is titled Dstroy, a Bomberman-style that's been ported to the PC, GP2x, and DS. And just like Bomberman, Dstroy' goal is for you to destroy the in-game monsters in the game's 48 levels. Dstroy was originally built for DOS in by FBS in 1995.
Dstroy is further expected to under more changes in the near future - expect to see these fixes in later builds:
* Sound working on NDS
* A network mode, up to 8 (or more) players
* Multilanguage version (in French only for the moment)
* Get the joysticks work well on PC
* High definition version (800*600) ; easy switching between the two versions
* Correct the bugs. Ah no, there's not one ;)
* Update website with all up-to-date versions!
Game controls and usage instructions are available in the download link. Stick around in case we pick up news of an update, or other homebrews making it to Neo's Summer Coding Contest!
