Trekking through Go Nintendo, we came upon news that the public beta for the Half Life 2 Wiimote mod is now available for download. There are still a fe bugs that need to be worked out, but hey, it is a beta release after all. If you have any bug reports, please feel free to click on the "via" link below and let the devs know about them.
All you need to make the mod work is a Wiimote, a Bluetooth dongle, and of course, a copy of Half Life 2 for the PC. Also, here's an important note from Pat Glynn, the mod creator:
The first time you run a game using the wiimote mod it will create a soundcache and will take awhile. The wiimote might not connect the first time as well, if this happens to you restart the game and it should connect fine.
