If you look at the whole list of homebrew games we've featured since the dawning of QJ time, you'd notice how varied all of them are. However, one common denominator all of them have is that they're fun. Of course, the term "fun" can be interpretted differently by different people.
luLy surely has an interesting idea for fun. And frankly, we're quite amused. He's created a Lua homebrew called NDS-Killer. As the title of his game states, that's just what you have to be: an NDS killer. You have to navigate the NDS around the screen into verious objects that come towards you. Every knife taht hits the DS damages it and gives you a point. As levels progress, more and more things would want to heal the DS, like toolboxes or bubble shields. Due to the nature of the game, you'd naturally want to avoid those.
Here are some other features:
* Highscore
* Multiplayer (you need a highscore of 150 to start it)
* No Lua-Player needed
* Options
Now, we know how some of you guys (myself included) have both a PSP and an NDS. You might think that this homebrew game was made in poor taste, but as the programmer himself states, don't take it all too seriously. Here's his disclaimer: "It's just [for] fun. I was searching for an enemy that every PSP-owner knows...and then I thought: what about NDS?"
