Homebrew developer NIGathan has released NIGaShootuh BETA 2. If you missed our previous coverage, this game is side-scrolling shooter with various features such as the ability to slow down the game, making it easier to navigate through some of the more troublesome spots of the title.
This second release further refines the game adding in a menu system, and fixes up the game's collision detection. In addition to this, enemies are now more dangerous considering they shoot back at your spaceship. Here are the other changes that NIGathan has added in the game:
* overclocked cpu to 333
* added semi-homing missiles
* added a points system
* added ability to pause your current game and return to the main menu and when you go back to the game it will be in the exact position as when you left
* fixed various bugs
So download this title and try it out. Be sure to go over the Read Me document in the compressed file before doing anything to avoid any unwanted accidents.

In this little piece of Lua programmed homebrew by Gutya, you take control of Mario as familiar fiends come rushing your way. If nothing else, its a different slant on this classic platformer
