OpenBOR coder extraordinaire NickyP is back once again in our forums to release his latest BOR project, this time, mixing a dose of Time Crisis elements into the Beats of Rage beat em up game engine for the PlayStation Portable.
Developer's note:
This is Time Crisis Side Scroller. Like the name implies, it's your average side scrolling beat 'em up, mixed with Time Crisis elements. So there's lots of shooting, reloading, and dodging bullets. Oh, and stuff blows up a lot.
Be sure to read my readme, check out controls1.png, and DEFINITELY watch the ingame HowToPlay (it's in the main menu when you load it).
I've included the OpenBOR executables for PC and Wii along with the PSP one, too. But be warned: PSP OpenBOR is not signed, so you will need CFW. I'm pretty sure everything from 5.00 M33 upwards will work... it works on my PSP Phat, and that's 5.50 Prometheus 4.
Unfortunately though, it looks like this game will stay as a demo. As the dev explained: "I haven't coded anything for this game since 2008. I'm basically releasing it because I doubt I'll work on it again, so... yeah." But anyhow, it still looks good.
