Hedzx from the forums has released the first public beta of his LUA coded game he named Super Chibi Fighters. What is a Chibi you ask. It mostly refers to certain kind of drawing style used by anime or manga illustrators to denote a child version of the character. Think cute and cuddly versions of your favorite anime characters. Now that we've done away with the explanation, definitions and whatnots, let's go straight to the game.
All the essentials of SCF being a great game in the future are already in there - cute characters and tried and tested mode of play - (here comes the big...) however, there are still a lot of room for improvements. The most obvious of these "chance for improvements" are the graphics used in the game. Good news though is that there are a lot of forum members offering their help to Hedzx to make some changes. You gotta love QJ forum members for that. Also, the sandbag can only be punched twice, and that's it. Hopefully, next time someone can actually win. The QJ crew shares the same suggestions as whitehawk and Urza the Tyrant about adding more chibis and a visual healthbar instead of just using text. Sounds maybe a very addition to the game as well.
And I should mention that over at QJ, a resounding "awww..." echoed when we opened the storyline for the game. We highly recommend you view it. A very interesting story.
