  Zelda: The Return demo v0.0.1

There's been quite a handful of homebrew Legend of Zelda clones for the PSP before, and here comes a new one: Zelda: The Return from French PSP coder, darksidious77. This release is just a demo for the full game - a Lua-coded game at that - and it involves another quest to save Princess Zelda.

The story here is that she was kidnapped by Azraal, some crazed sorcerer, and the only way to defeat him is by getting the sword of elements. And to get that, you'll need to collect four elemental jewels, each guarded by, well, their respective elemental guardians, of course!

There's no readme included here, but if you've had Lua experience in the past, you shouldn't have any problems with this. Again, please note that this is the first demo version only.

PyBlast v0.1PyBlast v0.1
PyBlast v0.1 Homebrew developer trevis dropped by our forums to release PyBlast v0.1. The object of the game is simple, blow up your opponent's tank before it blows you up. While this is simple in theory, it takes a certain amount of skill since you have to aim the gun while factoring in for wind and the amount of force you have to put into the shot
Portaball PSP Flash GamePortaball PSP Flash Game
Portaball PSP Flash Game  Here's another PSP flash game from Shallan called Portaball. Playing around it for while gave me a quick impression that it is a clone of the classic Breakout game, where you bounce the ball using a paddle to prevent it from falling and in turn bashing all the bricks above it
Frogs World DSFrogs World DS
Frogs World DS NDS homebrew dev King Dodongo has released a clone of the classic Frogger Arcade game for your NDS. This version is Frogs World 1.0. You need to collect frogs while avoiding the enemy in order to win the game. King Dodongo stated the following: "Copy the "fr3d_lvl" folder at the root of your flashcard, and place your levels ("lvl_X

Developer's note: PieChart Is a mish-mash of several PacMan gameplay styles and themes. Programmed in C over several weeks and using GRRLIB for rendering, PieChart is a 21 level experience
AspirinAspirin
Aspirin from Guglo: Aspirin is an arcade style game that I found for the TI-89 calculator (although I don't think that was the original version). In the game you collect dots and for each dot you collect more obsticals get in your way. You play with the remote like an NES controller or with the IR depending on the settings
Return to Tyrian .ds.gba formatReturn to Tyrian .ds.gba format
Return to Tyrian .ds.gba format Developer El Hobito has released a new shoot 'em up homebrew game for the DS today called Return to Tyrian. The game features a nice user interface, this isn't one of those 5-minute projects, the developer has actually spent some time on this; and excellent use of the Dual screens
Lua MaDnEsS finalLua MaDnEsS final
Lua MaDnEsS final Kozine from our forums has released the final version of his Lua game, MaDnEsS. The aim of this game is to collect the required amount flying rocks around the level, with the number of rocks varying depending on the level. This version features 7 full levels, some gret graphics, and some nice sound effects
Chase that cheeseChase that cheese
Chase that cheese  We already have quite a bunch of "chasing" homebrew games for the PSP (you have Chase that Pyramid, Chase the Penguin, etc.), truth be told this writer here is just waiting for someone to come up with a Chase that Coder game -- sponsored by Sony, of course. Harhar

Trigonometry Wars 8-17 This download contains all you need to play this game. The 8-17 in the downloa name relates to the date it was released - 8-17-06 (or in my case, 8-16) as no version numbers were given to the game. 71M has made the final updates to his Geometry Wars look-a-like for the upcoming votes for the NeoFlash Summer Coding Competition (2006)
