There's always something special about the first release of a homebrew game. Yes, it's not quite there yet in terms of being complete, there's still a lot that needs to be done - but you get to see the potential gameplay experience it would bring, and it's a special moment. Such is the case with DimensionT's little program of arcade shoot-em-up joy, Assault Mission v0.1b.
Well, it's sort of a flying game for now, as there's not quite much to do except to fly around and enjoy the scenery, as well as the nifty background music. What's awesome is that DimensionT, having first released a version that isn't quite running at full speed due to the clouds, managed to make everything run as smooth as silk - and with the clouds intact. Awesome.
So if you want a sneak peek at things to come with Assault Mission, the time to do so is now. Enjoy!
