  Battle Star Demo

Do you like classic 2-D shooters? If yes, then get ready for a treat straight from our friends over at xtreamlua. Homebrew developer Kingromain just released a demo of Battle Star, a side-scrolling shooter that looks like old-school shooters such as Gradius.

The demo supports one-player gameplay, and features quite decent graphics (we don't know about you, but we do like that huge red moon prominent in the background). That said, we just can't wait for the game's first full release. Until then, stay tuned for updates!

Open Mugen PSP  Kech over at PS2DEV has just released his port of Open Mugen for the PSP. Right now, it's still pretty rough. But expect it to get better as the Open Mugen project progresses further. Currently OpenMugen runs on Windows,Linux and XBOX, and now the PSP. Open Mugen is a 2d Beat-em-Up. I've played this game on Linux before and it is a lot of fun

Retro Rocks Retro Rocks is not a clone of anything. It is a superb game on its own. MathFacts has done an excellent job in making us jump in our seats while we play this game. What really made this game stand out was the "hyperspace" feature
Elements (WIP)Elements (WIP)
Elements (WIP) It's always a bit sad when an interesting piece of homebrew is left unfinished. It's the same with Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer EminentJonFrost's project, Elements, a mini-shooter with some rather quirky gameplay based around - wait for it - elements
