Homebrew developer vatho, co-founder of Team Mini Bomber, dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a new game called Block Poppers. It is currently in Alpha stage.
The objective of Block Poppers is for the player to move the blue block into the white square. In a way, the concept somehow reminds us of puzzle games Blockdude and Pegs. Anyway, this sounds easy but it gets harder as you progress to the next levels.
Currently, the Alpha version has a total of five levels with some unlockables like music and other stuff. vatho mentioned that he released Block Poppers this early to see the reactions of the community as well as to get comments.
We tried Block Poppers and it really is kind of addicting. Like the coder said, don't let the rather simple interface and graphics deceive you. vatho added that they will be improving the game with more levels, cleaner graphics, and better menu.

For an Alpha release that's coded in Lua, this is pretty well done. And to think, it's sony_psp_player's very first homebrew game. It's called PSPokemon, and from the name itself, you'd know it's (in the developer's own words) "a Pokemon clone

Cpajuste calls them crappy, but we think they're the start of something really good. He's ported some old GP2X games for use with the PSPs, and while all the features aren't there yet, they're pretty nicely made ports.
