FewChessDS Those who liked the previous release of homebrew developer Spehiroth_FF7's FewChessDS will be pleased to find out that the available chess variations isn't so few anymore. From the last version, quite a handful of game modes are added. Check out the changelog to know what rules/variations were added:
Version 0.4
* Adding armies Colorbound Cloberers I and II and Nutty Knights.
* Adding variations Gothic chess, Bird's chess and chess Embassy.
Version 0.3
* Adding to-mode against a human (even DS)
* Adding variations Pawns game, Peasant's revolt, Peasant's revolt II, Weak, Chess with different armies (for the moment there are only two).
You can go ahead and update your copy of FewChessDS with the file included in the download link below. Enjoy!

For those who haven't heard of this game, Mancala is a pretty old game, with the earliest records to it dating back to the 6th century AD

PSP Slim owners who missed the Zx-81's Go homebrew boardgame PSPGGO after switching from the PSP phat can now heave a sigh of relief, now that Zx just released the newest version of PSPGO. The good part? It's engineered for the PSP Slim.
It's more or less the same PSPGGO, but with some additional tweaks:

Wiibrew Chess Wiibrew Chess
One of the earliest Wiibrew ever released, Chess for the Wii, finally gets an update and now features Wiimote support - the original game only had support for the Game Cube controller. This update doesn't come from the original author, but from vader347

Now here is another game from the said developer, and it is tagged as Pretty Sheep.The game would most likely take advantage of your DS' stylus and basically the game is about a sheep being hounded by pesky wolves
Omalone Omalone As reported in an earlier article, Alx and the rest of the OMalone team has just released Omalone v2.0 and yep, it's now bumped up with Wifi support!
This is the team's beta version of 2.0 that includes Wifi support so we expect that we'll be hearing from them again soon, hopefully with even more environments and levels
