Tipster no name alerted us that Coolj has updated Brightness plugin for PSP Slim, bumping it up to version 0.2. As the homebrew's name suggests, it tweaks with your PSP Slim's brightness and opens up a brighter display setting (dubbed "5th brightness mode"). According to the dev, the said brightness mode is brighter than the old PSP's 4th brightness mode.
Anyway, there were a couple of changes to the plugin, mostly to the controls. Here's the changelog from the release thread:
Changed button combination to CIRCLE + RTRIGGER because some people use the NOTE button to take screenshots.
If you press CIRCLE + RTRIGGER again you return to the brightness mode you had before.(Example: you are in mode 1 and go to 5 and than press the combination again you return to mode 1).
Coolj also gave an important note: "If you are in the 5th brightness mode you can't use the brightness button,so,just press CIRCLE + RTRIGGER to go back to the last mode.Than you can use again the brightness button." The rest of the information are in the readme files bundled with the download, so check that out for more. After which, enjoy!
