TacticalPenguin returned to our forums to release a small update on "Sorta like..." starting with the name he's calling it: Chase the Penguin (v0.1). v0.1 still retains the basic gameplay code from yesterday, and it still runs off Lua Player, but if you comlpetely cover the penguin with the crosshair, "You caught the penguin!" and credits pop up to congratulate you.
Remember when we said yesterday that the simple ideas are the foundation of many games, right? Well, Tactical plans to work the following into future builds of Chase the Penguin:
* Single player mode in which penguin moves by itself
* Score/timing system
* Redo the in-game graphics
* Make the game standalone, and
* Anything else that is suggested
Which is why we have the Forum Release Threads and comments down below, right? The links have been updated!
