DiggerDS Thank goodness for homebrew remakes, else we'd never see some staples of the good old days. Sektor has released a port of the SDL version of Digger Remastered, which he now calls DiggerDS v0.1.
In DiggerDS, your job is to either eat all of the emeralds in a level or defeat all of the baddies to pass the level. It's simple gameplay, but as far as some of the QJ folk can remember, it got difficult pretty quickly.
He does note some problems with the game at present, mostly because it causes freezing after a limited play duration: "I have not added sound to the DS version yet. I think fixing the memory leak that causes the DS to freeze after approx 10 minutes is more important. "
In any case, give it a try. If you like it, it should give you incentive to wait for a new update to reveal itself. Enjoy!
