Let's admit it, homebrew has made every PSP owner's life more exciting. Until recently, fw 2.00 to 2.60 users can only look at the homebrew scene with wishful thinking that they had the same privileges as the 1.50 users. Thanks to eLoader, their wish has finally come true.
Now to make every fw 2.00 to 2.60 users' life more exciting, Xart immeresed himself in project code named "Select" to come up with Choice eXtreme, a desktop environment for the PSP that allows managing the files on your Duo Memory Stick easier. Written for and to support the eLoader, Choice eXtreme will allow users to make use of any of the eLoader versions to give you flexibility and choice.
To those who've used this sweet-looking shell (if you're ueing 2.00 to 2.60 and has missed the release of Choice eXtreme, know more about it and be convinced to give it a go here), Xart has just released Choice eXtreme 1.6.0a Patch Version 1.6.4a. As the application's name suggest, it is a patch for the previous Choice eXtreme release. Xart's site, however, failed to mention what it patches; but since most of you said it was crash-prone, maybe this is Xart's answer? If you have the Choice eXtreme loaded into your PSP and you decide to try this patch out, let us know what improvements Xart has for the lucky, lucky 2.00-2.60 users.
