PokeMini - Want to play some Pokemon Mini ROMs on your PSP? Check out this newly updated emulator!

The Pokemon Mini handheld was released all the way back in 2001, and these days it has mostly been forgotten. Essentially it was a dedicated portable meant for a limited series of Pokemon-themed mini games. Titles included a special build of Tetris, a Tomogachi-like breeder app, a racing game, and more. This emulator allows you to play ROMs from the now-defunct system. Check out the release notes below!

Operation

  1. Once you download the RAR, unpack in the root of Storage System.
  2. Go to the installation directory (inside the folder PokeMini) and we will find a folder called ROMS.
  3. Got some ROMS Pokemon Mini (extension. Minutes) and we put in the above folder.
  4. We headed to the PSP, and execute the emulator, we will find the main menu.
  5. Select Load Rom.
  6. We entered the ROMS folder created before, and within it, we select our favorite ROM.
  7. A play.

Controls

In the emulator:

  • Digital pad: Move through the options.
  • Or: Select.
  • X: Back.
  • Select: Back to game preloaded.

Games:

  • Digital Pad: Directional Pad Simulates the Pokemon Mini.
  • O: Simulates the A button
  • X: Simulates the B button
  • R Trigger: Simulates the C button
  • L Trigger: Shock Detector.
  • Start: Simulate button on / off.
  • Select: Return to the emulator menu.

Version 0.54

Improvements:

  • Fixed error in the load / save savestates.
  • Minor changes.
  • Only PSP: Time zone is now done correctly.
