Soywiz's PSPemu r555: Brings Graphics and Speed Improvements to Windows and Linux - Want to relive those PSP glory days from your Windows or Linux PC? This new emulator is one of the best attempts to make that dream a reality!

The PSP has become one of the most beloved systems ever made thanks to its strong hacking scene support. For a lot of us on QJ especially, there are many games like Lumines and Wipeout that have become absolute classics in our eyes. In this same vein, Soywiz has crafted his PSP emulator. While the project is still in its early stages, this update brings greater stability, high-quality graphics options, and editors for CWCheat as well as textures. Here is a video of it in action. The changelog is below!

Changelog for Revision 555 (2013-08-15)

  • Improved sasCore so using it now plays games better notes
  • Improved rendering speed. Now 3d games Should be faster.
  • Fixes on VFPU so Vallhala Knights is now showing skinned characters (still have some issues)
  • A CWCheat form editor.
  • Apply hq2x to textures
  • View and edit textures With The new texture editor (it Generates a. Texmap linked to the executable file folder so it will be loaded each time) and you can customize or Improve textures.
  • Added fullscreen antialiasing SMAA.
