Bliptracker DS homebrew developer Dan has just announced an update for bliptracker, which now stands at version 1.0. For the readers wondering what this application does, bliptracker is an NDS-based "drum machine, synth and sequencer, intended for live performance," according to the readme. Here're a rundown on version 1.0's improvements:
* v1.0b (public release) o mild chorus effect on theramin o new sample set + some demo songs o fixes in file save dialog o licensed under GPL, source available by request * v1.0a o expanded banks to six samples o separate sample bank selection for sequencer and drum pad (check menus) o better use of ds sound channels (theramin is a bit simpler) o subtle panning on some instruments o store more stuff in saved files o internal cleanups (less use of stack)
For the moment, bliptracker v1.0b has only been tested on the R4DS. Full installation and usage details should be available in the file readme - make sure to back up your flash card before doing anything else. Enjoy the download!

Tabbed Tabbed No messing round here, because I've got something huge. It's a drum machine. I always fancied jamming along to some slick beats, throwing a few chords around, climbing the fretboard in a frenzy of off the wall improvisation, but I never really got round to it because the whole effort sounds empty without a backing beat
DSFret DSFret If you're tired of playing air guitar and want to try the real thing this homebrew app from Spag is for you. He calls it DSFret v0.1 and it features the different notes on the fretboard. It allows you to revise every fret one after the other or in random order. You can also choose between International (A, B, C, ...) and Latin (Do, Re, Mi) output

from MetaFight:
Just to make sure it's clear, Harmonium wasn't exactly my own creation. Andre Michelle has a very similar application on his website which served as Harmonium's inspiration.
Harmonium is, to put it plainly, a musical doodling tool. The user can manipulate notes on a 16x16 grid to create melodies within a pentatonic scale
