  Music Quiz v0.1

Here's a unique little quiz game from Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Xevious86 - it's one that makes the questions based on the music tracks you have in your /PSP/MUSIC folder. A very cool idea, and in execution, it's pretty awesome.

For the uninitiated, playing Music Quiz is pretty simple. Once executed, Music Quiz will pick a random track in your /PSP/MUSIC folder and play it, and give you four track names to choose from (also picked randomly by the homebrew program itself). Then just press any of the PSP's face buttons that correspond to the correct choice. It's as easy as that.

Homebrew developer Xevious86 does suggest that if you are going to make use of Music Quiz, make sure that the tracks have short names - otherwise it's going to look funky in the choices screen. He does promise to fix that in a future version, however.

HarmoniumHarmonium
Harmonium  Harmonium is, to put it plainly, a musical doodling tool. The user can manipulate notes on a 16x16 grid to create melodies within a pentatonic scale. Xylophono The folks over at Dev-fr.org homebrew community has something interesting going on. Last month they started a music-themed homebrew game/application competition, with a twist: the entries have to be "silly" in nature. The competition managed to garner a handful of kooky entries, and we're going to sample three of them in this article

DSFret Given a day to update something is quite an achievement. As Spag has released his homebrew music maker just yesterday, DSFret is now in a congratulatory level of v0.2.
