PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Weltall gave us a buzz about a major update going down for his CWCheat homebrew app. The first thing people may notice is the move from CWCheat version 0.1.6 to 0.1.7 - which indicates the major fixes included in this app. For those wondering what this homebrew application does, it basically allows users to use, modify, delete, and organize cheats for your PSP and PSX games.
Moving to the updates, the first is a new FPS counter to display how many frames your game renders when in play. The second update isn't as visible but is more notable: a complete rewrite of the homebrew application's database-related functions to fix previously reported database loading problems. Going into full details:
It's now possible to show the frame per second which are being rendered on screen by the game. This can be enabled/disabled from the configuration menu (thanks to coldbird because he found the function which was hooked to make this possible) [ALL]
The db reader was rewritten from scratch this should fix the problems which involved the db loading and let you load db without file size limit (tested with a 3.2MB db)[ALL]
Corrected a bug while adding a new codeline (some lines were zeroed) [ALL]
Corrected a bug with the db saving[ALL]
Various other fixes
Added a Spanish translation by SiTWulf
As with all homebrew applications and games, we advise downloaders to view the bundle's README for proper installation instructions and other important details, such as where to report experienced bugs. There's also the QJ.Net Forums for any further discussions and updates. We thank Weltall for giving us the heads-up for CWCheat v0.1.7's release, and hope you guys enjoy the download below.
